There are many benefits of having a farmer direct supply chain:
Direct access to the freshest vegetables. We harvest and process in the morning and deliver directly on the same day to ensure that the food you sell is the best quality possible.
By skipping a middle-man distributor, the farmer receives the fairest price for the labour of their efforts
Building a menu based off seasonal vegetables offers colourful variety, as well as builds a unique Calgary food culture.
By working with the farmer in the off-season, production plans can be set in place to build a consistent supply of a regular product.
We also market through YYC Growers, giving the restaurant access to an online menu supplied by 20 different farms. This means that if we can't supply it, likely one of the other farms can. Contact us to get set-up on this amazing online market.
